This week the group analysed all of the results and made initial conclusions together, however Jonny took the task of conducting more in-depth research into the results to draw further conclusions. Before this though, the group took the raw data to a University Lecturer, Steve Manning, and he explained that we would have to conduct various statistical tests on our grouped raw data. He discussed the various tests, and the tests that stood out to me were the Student T test and the Mann Whitney U test. These tests were to be conducted to see if our data is reliable, but also to see if there is a significant difference when our raw data from each group was compared. These comparisons between the two test groups were extremely important, as these tests could help us see if achievements did or didn’t influence players.

Once analysis was completed, Jonny did further research into the results whilst the rest of the group started writing up the final report.
